REMAR Association The Gambia Chapter which is a charitable organization recently donated food items to the inmates in mile II prison.

According to the Country Director, Mr. Asare Joseph, REMAR as an NGO, it was founded in SPAIN by Misuel Diez and continued to say REMAR have been in the Gambia two years ago. REMAR takes care of Drug addicts, Alcoholic, Street children and prisoners etc. REMAR he noted that is a rehabilitation center for all marginalized in the society and is now in the Gambia two and half years old. 

'' We support each one with a problem and our doors are opened to everyone''.

The donated items are three bags of SPANISH BEANS and four packets of preserved bottle beans to contributes towards the socio-economic development of the country. "We valued the in castrated and the less Privileged as to they are brothers and sisters".

In his words representing the Acting Director General, Momodou Lamin Ceesay the Public Relation Officer of the Prison, commended REMAR for coming up with such an initiative nothing but helping to feed inmates is a blessing to the way of Allah. he added that the donated items will add more values to them . He called on other organizations and philanthropist to come on board to give out support to the less privilege.
