Notably, the training programs offered under the Prison Education and Training Initiative (PETI) cover a diverse array of disciplines, including Welding and Fabrication, Carpentry, Dental Hygiene, Dental Technology, Aluminium Design, Entrepreneurship, Business Development, Public Policy, Personal Money Management, Web and App Development, Software Development, and other relevant courses. The initiative ensures that these courses are accessible at multiple levels, from diploma programs all the way to postgraduate studies, making education attainable for all, regardless of their background.
The signing event was attended by a host of senior officials, including the Director General of the Prisons Department and his top management team, all of whom lauded the significance of the MOU. The Director General emphasized that this partnership with Kabboom Academy will play a pivotal role in advancing the prison reform agenda, with a primary focus on rehabilitation.
